Mt.Everest View Tour

Mt.Everest View Tour:

Namche Bazaar: The name of Namche Bazaar is generally associated with that of Sagarmatha or Mt. Everest, the highest point on earth. It is the entrance to the Everest region. Namche Bazaar is about 241 km from Kathmandu and distance is generally covered within 15 days by trekking. Now here else can you immerse yourself so totally among the highest mountains on earth and travel among legendary Sherpas. One can fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, Phaplu or Syangboche in Everest region. Accommodations are available at Lukla, Namche Bazaar, Tyangboche, Pangboche, Pheriche, Lobuche and Gorakhshep.

Everest - or to give its proper Nepali name, Sagarmatha ("High As Sky”), or its even more proper Sherpa name, Chomolungma ("Mother Goddess of the World"). The highest peak in the world is the greatest attraction of the region. The Everest region is the main trekking destination east of Kathmandu. It divides into two distinct areas, the lower, greener and more populous country to the south known as Solu. The region wedged between Solu and the Tibetan border is Khumbu comprising the spectacular, harsh landscape of Everest and the surrounding peaks and glaciated valleys. The Khumbu region is protected within Sagarmatha National Park, which is helping to preserve the remaining forest. The area of the park is 1148 square kilometers. The vegetation includes pine and hemlock forests at lower altitudes, fir, juniper, birch and rhodendron woods, scrub and alpine plant communities, and bare rock and snow. Wild animals most like to be seen in the park are the Himalayan Thar, Ghoral, Serow and musk deer.

The memories you freeze are everlasting in this region, remote monasteries, irrepressible Sherpas, and peaks with almost human moods and personalities create an unforgettable experience. The challenge of getting there is great. The choice is between flying to Lukla at, 2800m on the doorstep of Khumbu and taking the bus to Jiri in Solu and trekking. In ideal world, you would walk in from Jiri and fly out of Lukla to avoid back tracking.
