Best of Nepal - Kathmandu, Pokhara, Nagarkot & Chitwan

This is a trip which offers a delightful exploration of ancient temples and shrines of the three medieval kingdoms of Nepal. This trip takes you on a mystical historical tour where the past is still alive in the present, where tradition tirelessly repeats itself into a culture that remains imbedded by an ancient history & culture created by the kings of past generations where religious doctrines are strictly adhered to till this very day. Included in the tour is the ancient city of Bhaktapur, the very old Hindu temple and cremation ghats at Pashupatinath and the huge Buddhist stupa at Boudhnath. The tour also covers fascinating temples at Patan Durbar Square and Swayambunath, known as the ‘monkey temple’ (real monkeys - that can really be a pain in the neck sometimes. Make sure you have some bananas on hand) which is located on a small hillock from where you can have a 360 degree view of Kathmandu valley. The view is even more spectacular at dusk where sparkling lights of the valley can be seen twinkling on the horizons from a very quiet hillock located at a height of 350 feet above ground level. The trip extends to Nagarkot which is a one hour scenic drive out of the valley into one of the most beautiful natural environs in the country.

Added to this will be a blitz into Nepal’s exotic wildlife at the Chitwan National park. You will get to see the massive one-horned rhino, light-footed deer, an elephant breeding centre and the elusive tiger napping in the shade. After this trip in the wild, you will drive to Pokhara through a lush, green highway where from the windows of your vehicle, your eyes will behold snowy mountain landscapes and in the course of your drive, you will pass through little hamlets and villages on the way that will give you some deep insights into Nepal’s rural lifestyles; till you finally reach Pokhara, a beautiful, scenic lake town where nature is amplified with the views of majestic peaks almost at touching distance, clean water lakes with boating and canoeing thrills at your service. You will also see some natural wonders of nature in water falls and gorges and at dusk, when the sun dips behind the mountains, glimpses of twilight lighten up the skies that herald the end of day….and as you slumber after a wonderfully tiring day; the sound of crickets gently put you into blissful sleep…..its another day that will go into your diary….a fireside story on a cold winter evening for the generations to come. Day 01: KATHMANDU
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu Receive & transfer to the hotel Check-in and freshen up Sightseeing of Kathmandu city... Overnight at the hotel

Day 02: KATHMANDU
Breakfast at the hotel Full day sightseeing of Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath & Patan Durbar Square. Overnight at the hotel

Day 03: NAGARKOT
Breakfast at the hotel Sightseeing of Bhaktapur Durbar Square and drive to Nagarkot Check-in at the hotel. Sunset view over Himalaya.. Overnight at Nagarkot

Day 04: CHITWAN
Early morning wake up call for sunrise. Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Chitwan. Check-in at the Chitwan resort & overnight

Day 05: CHITWAN
Full day jungle activities within the National Park. Overnight at the Jungle resort

Day 06: POKHARA
Breakfast at the resort.Drive to Pokhara.Check-in at the hotel.Halfday city tour of Pokhara including 1 hour boat ride at Fewa Lake.Overnight in Pokhara
